I´ve seen a lot of old Harley and Indian motorcycles advertised for sale recently in Indonesia. The sellers send nice photos and their prices are good but they all want the buyer to send the money first before they will send the bike. They will not use an escrow agent or allow another person to see the bikes, so it seems that there are a lot of scams going on there. Some of the photos may be of military bikes in a museum. Do you know of web sites for museums in Indonesia so I can maybe check the photos? What is the safe way to buy a bike from Indonesia when I live in Mexico? And lastly, do you know of any OLD Harleys or Indians for sale there? Thanks, Clayton.

I think you’re not right with your figures lol. Average people earn about 1,500,000 ? Thats 1.5 lacs per month I think. Anyway I don’t have any idea of Indonesia but yeah bikes are really good if the rider is good otherwise brings a lot of risks with it . In heavy traffic, you can reach quickly than cars in bike so it’s not really bad.

It’s true most of the Asian people use bikes for their general transportation purposes.But i think its much convenient than other big vehicles we find for short distance purposes.
